Yes, they can and should. However, I believe they should cosplay in costumes that fit their body type. Something that flatters their body type. Obviously, anime/manga characters are tiny-that's to be expected. However a person that does not exactly have a 'fit' body should not wear a costume/cosplay that is too small and unflattering for their body type. They can make a costume, for that character, that flatters their body better.

I'm thin(well, decent, not run way model, but pretty good) but have some *cough* hugeflippinbreastthatIhate *cough* and so, this video is awesome for people who are not so thin and people that have an odd figure(thats what I call them since I hate my figure XD )
